Went to Class again and then went out to lunch with Andreka and Caitlin at Bar il Palio. We decided to sit outside and eat...wrong choice...the pigeons were so annoying and walking around us. Even though I did hear Pigeon was a delicacy here #interesting. I ended up ordering a small pizza that was on the menu...kinda of to small for me...AKA never ordering pizza here again its to small and was the same price as a normal sized pizza I usually get for dinner. We sat and ate in front of the il Campo and got a cool pic
After lunch went back to the hotel and did some homework and then went off to wine tasting at the Enoteca Italiana. So we learned alot but it was a bit disappointing the wine tasting, I thought I was going to learn alot more and they were going into more detail on how to Appreciate Wine as I put it. To tell if you have a good wine: If the wine bottle label is pink it is a good red wine and if the label is green it is a good white wine. You can also check more about what's in the wine from its DOCG. We got to taste three wines:
1st Vino Vernaccia Di San Gimignano - 2010 white wine
2nd Vino - Azienda Agraria San Gregorio - Chianti San Gregorio Red Wine (my favorite one-surprisingly bitter)
3rd Vino - 2008 Crescendo - Red Wine (fruityish taste)
We got some cheese/bread/salami to munch on during the wine tasting but after we got to go down to the wine cellar and we got to see all the other wines and got to take tones of pictures...the cellar was beautiful and we called it our personal Vino Collection.
